Welcome to Rose Cottage self catering near Bowness on Solway, our cottage is a lovely getaway far from noise and light pollution set in a hamlet called Cardurnock, pronounced 'Cardurnuk' on a peninsula opposite the Scottish coast. Rose Cottage sleeps two and is (small) dog friendly, it is well equipped and has a large garden that is surrounded by fields to the sides and rear.

There are some walks from Rose Cottage onto the shore around the corner and at Anthorn or down the lanes (lonnings) and there are many RSPB nature reserves locally indeed many visitors come to the area for bird watching.
